How to add items to menu?

When you activate the theme for the first time you will see a fallback menu. In most cases, you will like to use your own custom menu for which you will add pages, categories, projects, services, etc.

To add items to a WordPress website menu, follow these steps:

Log in to your WordPress website's admin panel.

  1. Log in to your WordPress website's admin panel.
  2. Go to the "Appearance" section and click on "Menus".
  3. Select the menu you want to add items to or create a new menu.
  4. Find the item you want to add on the left side of the screen under "Pages," "Posts," or "Custom Links."
  5. Check the box next to the item and click "Add to Menu."
  6. Drag and drop the item to the desired location in the menu. You can also indent an item to create a sub-menu.
  7. Click "Save Menu" to save your changes.
  8. Visit your website to see the updated menu.

Note: If you are adding a custom link, you will need to enter the URL and link text in the "Custom Links" section. If you want to add a category or tag to the menu, you can find them in the "Categories" or "Tags" section on the left side of the screen.
